Dr Algenes Aranha
Dr Algenes Aranha is our onsite Endocrinologist at Chesed Medical and Surgical.
He has lived and worked on the Gold Coast as a healthcare professional since 2015. Prior to this, Dr Aranha practiced in the United Kingdom.
Dr Aranha completed his FRACP in 2013, in both Diabetes and Endocrinology, as well as General Medicine.
At Chesed, Dr Aranha offers a range of consultation types, including Telehealth and Face-to-face appointments.
Dr Majid Al-Abbood
Dr Alabbood is one our onsite Endocrinologists who bulk bills his consultations at Chesed Medical and Surgical.
Dr Alabbood is a Consultant General Physician and Endocrinologist who graduated from Macquarie University with the degree of Doctor of Advanced Medicine in Endocrinology (Academic Excellence).
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Also, he is a fellow of the Iraqi Board of Medical Specialization and a fellow of the Arab Board for Health Specialization. He carries a High Diploma in Internal Medicine from Kufa University. He was the Director of the Endocrine and Diabetes Center in Basra, Iraq.
He graduated from Basra Medical School in 2003 and became a consultant in 2010. Currently, he is a staff specialist at the Gold Coast University Hospital and a Clinical Lead in Medicine at Bond University, Senior Lecturer at Griffith University, Senior lecturer at James Cook University, and Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame.
He has more than 60 published papers in the field of diabetes and Endocrinology. He is a reviewer and editorial board member in more than 50 international journals. He co-authored several national guidelines for diabetes and obesity management in Iraq. He served as an advisory board member of several prestigious pharmaceutical companies.
He has special interest in diabetes and obesity.
Dr Nooralddin Al-Saffi
We would like to introduce Dr Nooralddin Al-Saffi FRACP, MRCP(UK), SC endocrine and diabetes (UK) as General Physician with highly focused interest in endocrine and diabetes. He has 22 years of experience in the medical field. Many years of experience in managing complex diabetes patients.
Dr Noor has worked for the past five years in Queensland Health. He manages wide range of adult internal medicine cases.
